Ina & Del – November 2017

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at the cottage as a base for our house-hunting. We’ve had time to relax between viewings, to enjoy the coast and lovely walks. Bonus we found our new home!

Thank you very much for letting us stay at Cowrie. We enjoyed great locations, great cottage everything you can think of. We have enjoyed our walks along the coast with lots of villages and lovely beaches. Lovely people. Weather could have been better but that didn’t keep us in.

The Bhattis – August 2017

Had a very good weekend, the Portknockie Cottage took part in many activities in and around the location and a great stay in a comfortable cottage. Unfortunately, we did not see any dolphins, but we had a great time.

Murdoch Family – August 2017

We have had another lovley holiday at Cowrie Cottage. Thanks a lot!

Mark & Louise Barden – August 2017

We have had a lovely week in Cowrie Cottage, the sun has shone on the rain has stayed away mostly. The cottage is lovely and cosy and well equipped. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your retreat. We really enjoyed the week and we are sorry to leave. It’s been very relaxing and rewarding to have seen both dolphins and seals. We will come back.

Culbert – July 2017

Had a lovely holiday thank you.
Relaxed & enjoyed Portknockie and surroundings have to offer. The harbour, the chipper and the hotel. Didn’t have to go far to have a brilliant family holiday just walking and cycled along the coast to great fishing and wildlife spots. The dolphins make quite a display every evening of the harbour. Hope to be back soon.

Tricie & Colin – April 2017

Lovely few days here. Recommend a visit to the seals at Portgordon. Great walks along to Cullen and a scary visit to the spectacular Findlater Castle. Spey Bay definitely worth a trip too.

What a beautiful cottage could not have wished for more. We ranked lots of Cottages along the coastline and this is by far our most favourite to date. Loved the peace and quiet of the village and not to mention the Fish and chips from the local fish shop. Everyone was so friendly and always spoke whilst out walking our dog. We were 2 families getting together. My parents from Fraserburgh, 42 miles away, us from County Durham. We have had one week of fantastic weather.
